Dear Neighbors, Friends, and Family,

We write to you today with full hearts full and high hopes—a sentiment that may feel out of place at this time...As you all know, we at The Novak Team work hard, and play hard, in this community that we love!

In light of growing concerns, we are unable to safely host our annual Bunnies & Brews event this year.  However, we are using the opportunity to rally our clients, friends, families, and community for each other!  We take great pride in supporting local non-profits every year and want to still be able to contribute to our annual spring donation recipient, the Hungry Hearts Foundation, now more than ever.  The HHF are still working diligently to make sure children have food at home, especially during this time where children are kept away from their schools for yet another 5-6 weeks or more.

As extensions of the Novak family, we ask for you to join us in our mission to raise as much food as possible!  Last year, we raised over 600 pounds of food for the Hungry Hearts Foundation food banks for kids.  This year, we’d like to do even more; so we are now running a virtual food drive for them!

We have designated Saturday, March 21st as the first official “drop off” date - since we can’t gather and hang out with each other this year, we will “gather” food for our community's kids.  If you are unable to make it to one of our drop offs, no worries!  You can get a hold of us for arrangements for pick up.

About Hungry Hearts Foundation:The Hungry Hearts Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in Lake Stevens, Washington in 2015. It helps feed hungry school-aged children who are currently on the National School Lunch Program by providing them with supplemental food for the weekends and school holidays. Supplemental kid-friendly food items are packaged in nondescript bags that are distributed to students at school.  Currently, schools have a “grab and go” food program where kids under 18 can pick up 2 meals between 11:30am-1pm every week day; Hungry Hearts is helping play a vital role in this distribution.
